At Miller Equipment we carry
a selection of Great Plains® products. Great Plains Manufacturing, Inc. was started on April 1, 1976. Roy Applequist, founder and president, has lead the company during these many years. In 1997 the company divisionalized into Great Plains and Land Pride with Roy as the president of the Great Plains Division and president of the entire corporation. In 2004 Roy Applequist resigned as President of the Great Plains Division and handing the reigns over to Rick Hanson who has been with the company for most of it's 27 years. The Great Plains division has succeeded in becoming one of the largest privately held agricultural equipment manufacturers in the United States. It is the leader in the agricultural drill market and fast becoming the leader in agricultural tillage tools with it's innovative designs. In 2004 Great Plains rolled out it's innovative Yield-Pro planter line and is quickly making a name in the planter market
